Creating your account & signing in
You need a FlutterGo.AI account to build and save apps. Your account keeps your projects, your plan and credits, and your team settings together in one place.
Signing up is quick. You only need a name, an email address, and a password. On some FlutterGo.AI instances you can also sign in with Google, or with your company's single sign-on (SSO).
Here we show you how to create an account, sign in later, sign out safely, and understand every field and button on the sign-in dialog, so nothing is a surprise.
Watch the full flow first — from the landing page: Get started → create your account → the studio → sign out → sign back in. Recorded end to end (no sound).
Everything on this page, in dark theme: Get started on the landing page, the sign-up form typed live, landing in the studio, logging out from Settings → Account, and signing back in.
What you need#
- A working email address.
- A password you can remember.
- An invite code, but only if your FlutterGo.AI instance requires one. Most users can leave this field empty.
How to do it#
1. Open FlutterGo.AI#
Go to fluttergo.ai in the browser. You land on the FlutterGo.AI home page, with Sign in and Get started in the top-right corner. (The moon/sun button next to them switches between light and dark theme.)
The FlutterGo.AI home page — click Get started to create your account.
2. Click "Get started"#
Click the Get started button in the top-right corner of the home page. The "Create your account" page opens — "Tell FlutterGo what you want to build. We handle the Flutter code."
The sign-up page.
3. Fill in the sign-up form#
The form has these fields:
- Name, what we should call you.
- Email, your sign-in address. Required.
- Password, your secret password. Required.
- Invite code (if required), only needed on instances that limit sign-ups. Leave it empty otherwise.
A completed sign-up form, ready to submit with the Create account button.
4. Click "Create account" to submit#
Press the Create account button at the bottom of the form. While the request runs, the button shows "Please wait…". When it succeeds, you are signed in right away.
Success: You are signed in right away and land on the studio home — "What Android and iOS app do you want to build?" — ready for your first prompt.
Straight after sign-up: the studio home with the prompt box and public templates.
5. Sign in on your next visit#
Next time, click Sign in in the top-right of the home page instead. The page is titled "Welcome back". Enter your Email and Password, then click the Sign in button.
The sign-in page for returning users.
Step 6 (optional): Use Google or SSO#
If your instance has these options set up, the dialog shows extra buttons above the form, separated by the word "or":
- Continue with Google, sign in with your Google account.
- Continue with SSO, sign in through your company's single sign-on.
If you don't see these buttons, your instance uses email and password only.
Optional sign-in providers appear above the email form when they are enabled on your instance.
7. Switch between sign-in and sign-up#
At the bottom of the dialog there is a small switch line:
- On the sign-in dialog it says "Don't have an account?" with a Sign up link.
- On the sign-up dialog it says "Already have an account?" with a Sign in link.
Click the link to flip between the two forms without closing the dialog.
8. Sign out#
To sign out, open Settings (the gear button in the top-right corner of the studio), choose the Account section, and look for the Session card. It explains: "Sign out on this device. Your projects and data stay on the server." Click the Log out button.
Settings → Account: your profile, sign-in method, and the Session card with Log out.
Tip: You can browse the studio home without an account, but creating projects requires signing in. If a prompt fails with "Could not create the project. Sign in and try again," just sign in first.
Important: There is currently no "forgot password" link on the sign-in dialog. Keep your password somewhere safe. If you signed up through Google or SSO, you don't have a FlutterGo password at all, always use the same provider button.
Common mistake: Typing an invite code when none is needed. The field is labeled "Invite code (if required)", if your instance is open, leave it blank.
Sign-in methods compared
| Method | Button label | When available | What you need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email + password | Sign in / Create account | Always | Email and password |
| Continue with Google | Only if the instance has Google OAuth set up | A Google account | |
| Enterprise SSO | Continue with SSO | Only if the instance has OIDC/SSO set up | Your company login |

FAQ#
Is the Name field required? No. Email and password are required; the name is optional but helps identify you in team features.
What is the invite code for? Some instances limit who can sign up. If yours does, you'll receive a code to paste into the "Invite code (if required)" field. Otherwise, ignore it.
Can I change my password later? Not from the app today. The Account section shows your sign-in method but does not include a password change form. Contact your administrator if you need a reset.
Does signing out delete anything? No. The app says it clearly: "Your projects and data stay on the server." Signing out only ends the session on this device.
How do I know which sign-in method my account uses? Open Settings, then Account. The row Sign-in method shows either "Email and password" or "Single sign-on."
Why does the app keep asking me to sign in before checkout? Plans must be linked to an account. The billing page notes: "Sign in is required before checkout so your plan links to your account."
